Embrace the Spirit of Goseva and Preserve

Malenadu Gidda Breed

ABOUT THE PUNYAKOTI GOSHALA

Udupi, a city in the southern state of Karnataka, is renowned for its beautiful temples, including the famous Krishna Temple. The temple has a rich history and is known for its highest level of devotion to Lord Krishna, also called Gopalak. In keeping with the spirit of devotion and service, the Punya Koti Goseva Trust has been working tirelessly for the past five years to conserve the local cow breed, Malenadu Gidda.

Recently, the trust was blessed with 4 acres of land in Aruru village belmar Place, which was generously donated by Srimathi M Vasanthi Manohar Rao Aruru. This has increased their desire to serve more holy cows, and they are planning to build a goshala with an estimated cost of 5 crores. The goshala will include a GoSeva Dhama, a training center for Gavya preparation, and a guest house for visitors who wish to serve as volunteers. This will be a unique opportunity for those who want to support the protection of Malenadu Gidda and serve Punya koti.

The Malenadu Gidda breed of cows is a unique species that is indigenous to the Malnad region of Karnataka. These cows are known for their miraculous healing properties, and their milk and by-products have been traditionally used in Ayurvedic treatments. The trust is committed to protecting this breed, which is on the verge of extinction due to various factors such as cross-breeding and neglect.

To raise awareness about goseva, the trust has organized various events throughout the district. These events aim to educate people about the importance of cow conservation and promote the production and use of Gavya, a natural product derived from cow urine, dung, milk, and ghee. The trust has also conducted seminars on Gavya treatment, Naadi treatment, and other aspects of cow welfare.

The trust humbly requests all spiritual beings to contribute to this noble cause with a pure heart, mind, and body. Through seva, one can experience the joy of serving and contribute to the welfare of these holy animals. It is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a movement that is working towards preserving the Malenadu Gidda breed and promoting cow welfare in general. Let us all come forward and contribute as much as possible to this noble cause.

COW PROTECTION

OUR ETERNAL DHARMA

According to the ancient Indian way of thinking, it is important to do good things not just for humans, but also for animals like cows who need help. Cows are special animals in India, and people are grateful for the milk they give to human babies. In fact, cows are considered like mothers in India. To make society better, we need to follow the traditional Indian culture and protect cows. This means keeping them safe and making sure they are well taken care of. Taking care of cows is an important duty for all people.
